Premier Medical Resources is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have relevant industry knowledge in accounting or finance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Reconcile daily deposits for all clinics and creates excel spreadsheet for billing
- Prepares journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes
- Processes/Deposit Daily Checks as needed
- Maintains financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
- Conducts monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Prepare journal entries by maintaining records and files
- Responds to information requests in timely manner, reviews financial statements for accuracy, and assists with audits
- Review expenses for compliance with policies and procedures
- Ensures completeness and accuracy of tasks and projects
- Supports monthly accounting close process and audits
- Assist with various short-term or long-term projects as needed
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including World, Outlook, and strong Excel skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Personal accountability and ability to work independently
- Strong communication (verbal/written) skills
- Critical problem-solving skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Four years of experience in lieu of education
- Two (2) years of accounting experience
WORK SCHEDULE:
• On-site position
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
