About the Job
- Assist with month end closing including data collection, creation of journal entries, and reconciliation of GL account balances in preparation of monthly financial
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of all cash and bank accounts as well as Department of Health vaccine program
- Record and maintain prepaid expenses and deferred revenue schedules
- Record, track, and maintain payroll expense in general ledger
- Serve as backup for recording of daily cash receipts to the general ledger, as well as serving as back up for daily cash deposits
- Track capital expenses and fixed assets
- Assist in GL functions and other special projects or spreadsheet maintenance/creation to support management
- Prepare and monitor spending for fiduciary accounts
- Prepare reports for submission to required reporting agencies
- Update/track various exhibits associated with reports on financial or operating activities including but not limited to: finance KPI's, rate per visit exhibits, and 340B revenue and expense activity
- Perform all billing and collection functions using specialized billing software
- Perform any follow-up on aged items as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as in Staff Accountant role
- Software: Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's) and ERP experience
- Background in non-profit industry
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
