Key Responsibilities:

• Process journal entries, including payroll, revenue recognition, and expense allocations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders as a Staff Accountant.
• Support grant management, tracking restricted funds, and preparing financial reports.
• Assist with annual audits and maintain records for accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor organizational budgets, assist with forecasting, and perform variance analysis as a Staff Accountant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit organizations.
• Proficiency with MIP, any other accounting systems & Microsoft Excel, is a plus.
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting and grant reporting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
