The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of finance-related tasks that include managing operating expenses, investments, loans, distribution, monthly reconciliations, and bank investments. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of GAAP, be proficient in MS Office Suite and QuickBooks, and have a background in public accounting.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the management of operating expenses, investments, and loans.
2. Facilitate distribution and conduct monthly reconciliations.
3. Manage bank investments and prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.
4. Conduct audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
5. Evaluate actuarial reserve options and provide financial advice based on findings.
6. Interact with clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing excellent customer service.
7. Prepare meeting documents and present financial reports to clients and stakeholders.
8. Utilize knowledge of GAAP to ensure all financial operations are carried out appropriately.
9. Use MS Office Suite and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.
10. Provide support to the finance team as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. CPA certification is required.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance industry.
4. Experience in public accounting is a plus.
5. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and QuickBooks.
6. Solid understanding of GAAP.
7. Strong knowledge of operating expenses, investments, loans, distribution, and bank investments.
8. Experience in preparing monthly reconciliations, quarterly and annual financial statements, audits, and tax filings.
9. Familiarity with actuarial reserve options.
10. Excellent client interaction skills with a strong focus on client relationship management.
11. Ability to prepare meeting documents and present financial information clearly.
12. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
13. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
