Staff Accountant at Kinetic Personnel Group

Our customer, a privately owned Food and Beverage processing facility, seeks a Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Some experience in cost accounting, understanding of scrap and yields and how they work in the costing of WIP and finished goods.
• Be familiar with landed costs, throughput, labor costs, WIP/routing and the flow of these through an ERP system.
• Understand average costing, FEFO, FIFO and understand how to fix transactions that recorded with missing or wrong costs and the effects these mistakes have on the financials.
