FULL TIME – Staff Accountant

Excellent opportunity for a motivated accountant with a background in corporation and partnership taxation, at a busy, well-established CPA firm located in Iselin, NJ.

This position will involve a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Review, adjust, and close books and records for small to mid-sized business clients
• Preparation of financials statements
• Preparation and review of federal and multi-state corporate, personal, estate, trust and foundation tax returns, with heavy emphasis on business returns
• Tax Research
• Daily client interaction

The ideal candidate is an individual who can uphold corporate policies, is technically competent, has initiative and determination, follows through with assignments and is able to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously. Candidate will be eligible benefits package.

Job Requirements:

· 2-5 years’ experience in public accounting field

· Strong computer skills, proficiency in Excel, Word; QuickBooks

· Excellent written and oral communications skills

· Detail oriented and highly motivated self-starter

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Excellent organizational, analytical, research and critical thinking skills

Individual must be a CPA or a CPA candidate.
