Solugenix is assisting a client, in their search for a Staff Accountant. This is a direct hire opportunity based out of Irvine, CA (Onsite).

Our client has an opening for a Staff Accountant to aid and help with general accounting and financial functions at the corporate headquarters in Irvine. This position will handle daily accounting tasks as well as periodic tasks and relevant administrative duties. Successful candidates should have 3+ years of experience in relevant positions. We are looking for a strong initiative-taker with ability to handle and solve problems and achieve goals.

Qualifications:
Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability in accounting software (ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent use of Excel including pivot tables and v-lookups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organization, time management and critical thinking skills.

• Global consolidation, elimination and foreign currency experience a plus.
• Public accounting experience.
• Construction Accounting experience.

• Prepare and post monthly and year-end Journal Entries and record keeping.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare documents for audits and support year-end financial audits and other ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Banking and treasury functions.
• Track Operating Cash and Intercompany reports and reports monthly.
• Code invoices for AP entry.
• Report to the Director of Financial Reporting and aid in the implementation of accounting processes and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization and subsidiaries.

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $75,000 to $95,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
