Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This is a permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts by collecting and analyzing financial data from various sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and adherence to internal controls.
Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the annual audit process.
Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Support the finance team in ad hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement analysis is required.
Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is a plus.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
