Staff Accountant - UNAVAILABLE

Overview

Knowledge Services is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join its Finance team.  This position will be a key member of the Finance team reporting directly to the Corporate Controller and will work with others throughout the Company.  Our ideal candidate will be hands on and willing to put new processes in place as needed and not be satisfied with just learning how things were done previously. You will join a team that is passionate about improving the daily function of the Finance team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain annual state registrations
• Perform month-end close which includes but not limited to bank reconciliations and various account reconciliations
• Analyze actual to budget variances to ensure accuracy of financials
• Assist with annual audit

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years Staff Accountant
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas
• Experience with Intercompany transactions
• Microsoft GP experience preferred but not required
• Self-starter and excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
