Location: Port Washington, NY
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Cover all aspects of accounting, including, but not limited to:
- Daily review of corporate credit card expenditures & employee reimbursements (Navan Liquid expense reporting platform)
- Review Pos/receivers initiated by Operations and generate invoices / receivers
- Maintain assigned balance sheet reconciliations – including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, prepaid inventory, bank reconciliations.
- Review intercompany reconciliations and prepare journal entries as needed
- Assist Senior Accountant with month-end close process
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Accounting major a plus
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of ERP systems (preferred) and Quickbooks desktop
- Familiarity with automated T&E systems preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required, high level of proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, both written and oral
- Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere.
- Industry knowledge a plus
