Staff Accountant (Hybrid) at Activ8

An automotive parts manufacturing company near the La Salle, IL area is seeking a Staff Accountant.  This will be a hybrid position (2 days on site per week).  You will support the Controller with monthly activities (GLs, account reconciliations, journal entries, monthly closeouts, etc.)  The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an industrial environment.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly close processes - account reconciliations
• General ledger - journal entries (timely & accurate)
• Balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support Standard Costing analysis (including annual revisions)
• Assist Accounts Payable process
• Assist financial audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• 1-3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing environment is a plus)
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment responsibly & effectively

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment.
