Staff Accountant - Vaco, LLC

About the Job
Duties include:
- Daily processing of sales orders including completeness review.
- Daily input of new job orders into the system.
- Processes and enter transactions the system.
- Maintains accounts receivable records.
- Performs credit checks on new customers, and customer collections.
- Interacts with customers and other departments to resolve questions and problems.
- Reconciles bank accounts, investigates discrepancies, and makes corrections as necessary.
- Month end closing duties include account reconciliations, preparation of journal entries and report preparation.
- Prepare monthly sales tax returns, job cost and hours reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Preferably 2 years of experience, willing to consider recent grad
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with ERP system

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
