About the Job

Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their great team. This company has a very positive culture, great management team. The idea candidate will be detail-oriented owning the day-to-day accounting transactions in the general ledger and accounts payable. If you have the ability to meet deadlines, have strong foundational accounting skills, and a desire to grow and learn, this is the role for you!

Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for journal entries including recordingbank and credit card transactions.
Responsible for prepaid and accrual entries.
Reconcile both bank and GL
Cash application
Monitor AR Aging and perform collection duties as needed
Handle vendor onboarding and subsequent accounts payable processing for timely payment remittance
Handle oversight and processing expense reimbursements including proper coding and approvals
Responsible for fixed asset accounting from acquisition, monthly amortization, through to disposal
Assist in month end close
Assist in compiling data for sales tax and 1099/1042-S filings
Assist with monthly budget to actual reconciliation activities
Assist with annual audit
Perform other related duties as assigned
Strong Excel and Quickbooks experience a plus
