Staff Accountant
Pay Range: $60-75k, depending on experience
Location: Hartford, CT (on-site)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

An expanding company in Hartford is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented individuals with experience in financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and general ledger postings to take on a key role in supporting the organization’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger account entry activities.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements according to established schedules.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with audit activities and other compliance tasks.
• Support the accounting team with special projects and assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
