Staff Accountant - AmpThink

AmpThink is a leading provider of Technology systems for world class stadiums and arenas throughout North America. We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Customer Experience team. The successful applicant will play a role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the business. The Staff Accountant will be expected to perform a variety of accounting duties, including but not limited to, maintaining accurate and timely financial records, analyzing financial statements, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities

• Perform all day-to-day accounting duties, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts
• Maintain and update the accounting software
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns
• Assist in various back office administrative responsibilities to support the company workforce

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Demonstrated experience leveraging technology to streamline and accelerate workflows
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
