Staff Accountant - Sparks Group

Sparks Group in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Staff Accountant.  The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, various types of account reconciliations, financial reporting and maintaining the accounting systems.  The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3 years of relevant accounting experience.  If you’re looking for your next opportunity, apply now!

• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with audits.
• Generate monthly financial reports, including cash flow statements and A/R aging reports.
• Update fixed assets, process customer invoices and payments, and handle sales tax compliance.
• Provide research and analysis to the CFO and Controller.
• Review orders for errors, monitor Play System product line, and assist customers with billing inquiries.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of three year of relevant accounting experience
• Thorough understanding of US tax regulations
