STAFF ACCOUNTANT - Spherion

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset schedules, and daily cash activity worksheets.
- Assist with accounts receivable and payable processes, reconciling inventory and WIP GL accounts to subsidiary ledgers.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and accuracy of financial data.
- Participate in the annual corporate audit and contribute to improving the ERP system for enhanced data integrity and reporting.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Experience with intercompany transactions and report generation tools like PowerBI or Crystal Reports.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and an understanding of their impact on data management and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to standardize practices and procedures to eliminate non-value-added work.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.

Associate

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Bachelor???s Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
- 1-to-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Intercompany transactions is a plus
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize effectively.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing goals through collaboration and teamwork
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting Software
Ability to create advanced Excel spreadsheets
PowerBI, Crystal, and/or other report generation tools experience a plus
