HYBRID: 4 days in the office, 1 day a week working from home

Salary: $60,000-$70,000

Job Description: Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for accuracy. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment with one day a week remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Excel & Yardi)
