  Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Balance sheet accountants reconciled by Day 1 of close.  
• Weekly Variance Reporting 
• Coach the AR and /or AP team 
• Ensure proper accounting for all business transactions daily.  
• Perform lead role for month end closing process. 
• Ensure all assets and liabilities are reconciled monthly.  
• Ensure software applications are current.  

What you’ll Need:

• Degree in Business with a focus in Accounting/Finance
• 3+ years of work experience
• Comfortable learning new software/computer skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Strong problem-solving skills and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy     and timeliness.
• Excellent understanding of accounting rules & procedures including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
