About the Job
The purpose of this position is to support the Controller on all financial affairs including include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining a general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
We are looking for an experienced accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. You will have the opportunity to be a part of the company's growth, while further developing your accounting skills.

Responsibilities
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Daily reconciliations on cash accounts.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Assist with audits and tax returns.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Skills
- Proven at least 3+ years of experience as accountant.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
- MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Associates degree in Accounting; Bachelor's in Accounting Preferred.
- Self-Motivated, analytical and strong organizational skills.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Exceptional verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to use good judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
