POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs a variety of professional level accounting duties such as preparing, maintaining, analyzing, verifying, and reconciling financial transactions, statements, records, and reports. This position will also aid in maintaining the accuracy of ledgers and financial systems as well as assisting in the preparation of budgets, settling intercompany transactions, billing clients, annual audit, and year end closing.

Financial management and reporting
Technical capacity

Understanding of GAAP fundamentals
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Documents financial transactions by entering account information
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
Develop an intimate knowledge of the portfolio
Preparation of reserve drawings and funding requests
Reconciles monthly bank statements and has responsibility for cash management
Maintains investor confidence and protects operations by maintaining confidentiality
Assists with year-end reporting including, but not limited to, annual filings, audits, and tax returns
Maintain financial security by following internal controls and promoting ethical environment
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or degree in business with relatable experience)
CPA certification not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequently sit, stand and walk
Regularly required to talk or hear
Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
Strong commitment to coming into the office at least 4 days a week
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate
