Staff Accountant - EFP

Position Summary

Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will be part of the Finance team and will have responsibility for a variety of general accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue analysis, and intercompany transactions.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

• Assist with preparation of journal entries during monthly/quarterly/annual closing process.
• Assist with account reconciliations to support separation of duties within the Finance team.
• Manage and process accounts payable transactions for assigned operating facilities.
• Analyze and report revenue performance for leadership planning purposes.
• Review assigned expense accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare journal entries to accurately capture intercompany transactions.
• Prepare travel expense file on a weekly basis to allow accounts payable person to process.
• Prepare weekly report for banking transactions.
• Review and update vendor information as needed in Syteline system.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or general business.
• 1-2 years of general accounting experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of accounting software packages preferred.
• Excellent skills in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
