Staff Accountant - EFP

About the Job
Position Summary
Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will be part of the Finance team and will have responsibility for a variety of general accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue analysis, and intercompany transactions.
Duties & Essential Job Functions
- Assist with preparation of journal entries during monthly/quarterly/annual closing process.
- Assist with account reconciliations to support separation of duties within the Finance team.
- Manage and process accounts payable transactions for assigned operating facilities.
- Analyze and report revenue performance for leadership planning purposes.
- Review assigned expense accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare journal entries to accurately capture intercompany transactions.
- Prepare travel expense file on a weekly basis to allow accounts payable person to process.
- Prepare weekly report for banking transactions.
- Review and update vendor information as needed in Syteline system.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or general business.
- 1-2 years of general accounting experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of accounting software packages preferred.
- Excellent skills in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
