Vaco is currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join one of their clients growing team. The Staff Accountant would be responsible for AR reconciliation, cash journal entries, and managing fixed assets. The ideal Staff Accountant should be bright, demonstrate high energy, and have a desire to learn and grow as the Controller would like to grow and groom this individual. What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
1-3 years of corporate GL or public accounting experience
Advanced Excel
Exposure to accounting software systems
Taking steps to get their CPA moves you ahead of the line

What will you do in this Staff Accountant role?

Prepare accounts receivable reconciliations
Prepare journal entries
Assist with cash management
Maintain fixed assets
Work with sub-ledgers to integrate data in company ERP
Financial reporting, maintaining the GL, and work on inventory related areas of accounting
Pitch in with accounts payable when needed
Provide support with financial planning

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
