Staff Accountant - Roessel Joy

• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable regarding purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other changes with invoice.
  
• Handling accounts payable for separate business units and vendors.
  
• Understand the financial structure of each business unit, and accurately allocate expenses to the appropriate accounts.
  
• Generate reports detailing accounts payables status.
  
• Process accounts for payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  
• Ad-Hoc accounting projects
  

Requirements

• Strong financial background with an understanding of accounting principles.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Strong communication skills: bilingual is a plus.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Desire to grow with us and expand your accounting knowledge
  
• Strong project management skills
  
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  
• Previous experience using NetSuite

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required 1-2 years of experience in corporate accounting Experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks or Deltek Knowledgeable in accounting principles (US GAAP) Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to identify problems and discrepancies, independently perform research and analysis of causes, and recommend corrective actions Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel (pivot tables), Word and Powerpoint A mindful, accountable, ethical, responsible, respectful, and collaborative approach to work Eager to learn new systems, processes, and accounting for a growth company.
