Staff Accountant - NorthPoint Search Group

Our client is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their team. The position will report directly to the Controller.

Duties:

• Responsible for general ledger (Booking all entries)
• Account charges in credits and debits and documenting financial statements for a quarter, calendar or fiscal year.
• Manage Accounts Payable
• Prepare & Process Payroll ( appx 30-50) pronating checks
• Calculate commissions
   

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite including Excel & ERP System experience
• Ability to meet deadlines and month end accounting close
• Handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
