Prepare supporting schedules and documents for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.Reconcile general ledger accounts by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.Maintain and update the general ledger to accurately record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Review and address customer questions regarding account discrepancies.Record customer transactions including contract initiation, payments, terminations, funding, etc.Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules and addressing auditor inquiries.Assist with various sales tax or related audits.Additional duties as assigned.WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.Ability to lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs.Normal range of hearing and vision.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5+ years of relevant experienceProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of Microsoft DynamicsWorking knowledge of multi-state sales, use and property taxesJOB DETAILS:
