Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform general ledger (GL) account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare and process journal entries to support month-end close.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices and payments.
• Help maintain financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support the preparation of tax filings and assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making and financial planning.
• Perform other accounting duties as required, including special projects and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
