Staff Accountant - Vaco

Position Overview:
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting the overall financial health of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, demonstrating expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records and prepare accurate monthly financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure efficient cash flow.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts and assist in the year-end closing process.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances, providing insights to management.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts based on production schedules.
• Assist in the audit process and prepare necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
