Staff Accountant - Unity Search Group

Unity Search has partnered with a highly reputable investment company in Downtown Dallas and on hybrid (3 in/2 out) schedules that is looking to hire a Staff Accountant.  This company retains their people very well (average tenure is 8+ years) due to their culture and great work/life balance.  This is an opportunity for someone who wants a stable role with a friendly/knowledgeable team.  Compensation for this will depend on experience and fall in the 80-90k range + bonus.

Here are some of the responsibilities:

• Bank reconciliations
• Prepare and enter various journal entries, including accruals
• Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Prepare various reports and information requests for annual audit
• Prepare various cost allocations to subsidiaries
• Other duties may be assigned

Some of the requirements are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1+ year of accounting experience from either public accounting (audit) or industry
• Experience with Epicor Enterprise, Essbase, or Sage Fixed Asset software preferred
• Strong with excel
