Staff Accountant - PrideStaff

PrideStaff Financial has partnered with our North Dallas based client in search of a motivated Staff Accountant to join their team! This is a permanent opportunity in an unmatched culture!  

If you love working with fixed assets and sales tax and are a self-starter looking for a manager who is going to allow you to take ownership of your work....this role is a fantastic opportunity! 

Primary Responsibilities

• The Accountant will review and complete analysis of general ledger
• Prepares monthly analysis and plays point on all fixed asset management
• Month-end close entries, including but not limited to fixed assets, prepaid accounts, accruals, cost reclassifications, etc
• Prepares month-end bank and balance sheet reconciliations for all projects and accounts.
• Process sales tax returns and maintain unclaimed property records
• Performs related duties as assigned
• Actively partner with auditors, internal teams and external customers/vendors. 

Education & Experience:

• Four year accounting or finance degree
• 2+  years of full cycle accounting experience
• Strong leadership skills and experience

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Per Year
