As a Permanent Staff Accountant, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Assisting in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, providing detailed and accurate reports to support strategic decision-making.
3. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, implementing internal controls to mitigate risks.
4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
5. Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of accounting data.
6. Recording journal entries, maintaining detailed records of financial transactions.
7. Collaborating with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Staff Accountant role will have the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
4. Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting principles.
5. Knowledge of compliance requirements and financial regulations, with experience in implementing internal controls.
6. Experience in bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
7. Proficiency in recording journal entries and maintaining detailed financial records.
8. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
