Pay: $35/hr
Our client, a country-wide recognized NPO with a great team-oriented culture and room to develop internally is looking for a Staff Accountant to add to their growing team! This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment, directly contributing to the financial health and operational success of their organization.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
· 1-3 years of experience in accounting; nonprofit experience is a plus
· Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
Job Description:
· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
· Perform general ledger maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
· Support monthly and year-end close processes, preparing reconciliations and journal entries
· Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities to assist with long-term planning
