About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join a well-established apparel company. This is a role that offers an opportunity to manage diverse accounting responsibilities, including AR, AP, payroll, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and chargeback processing.
- Oversee cash management, including bank reconciliations, GL coding, and journal entries.
- Assist in month-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Process payroll for 80+ employees.
- Supervise importation processes, inventory management, and cost allocation.
- Transition payment processes from manual to digital, including implementing ACH and wire transfers.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in AR, AP, chargeback processing, and cash management.
- Familiarity with importation logistics and inventory cost allocation.
- Proficiency in Excel (required) and ERP systems such as Full Circle, Netsuite, Airtable, and Dropbox (plusses).
- Experience working with factoring banks (a big plus).
