Requirements:
- Provide general support to the accounting department in the form of helping with inputting journal entries, assisting with month end activities and both accounts payable and receivable, and processing invoices
- Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies to all work duties
- Prepare and keep financial and business transaction data up to date.
- Prepare reports to ensure accurate accounting records.
- Assist with inputting journal entries.
- Keep sensitive information confidential
- Perform general office support like filing and other administrative tasks
- Maintain, verify, and update numerous ledgers
- Provide assistance with invoices and payments
- Provide support to supervisory and executive staff by performing any assigned accounting and clerical tasks Help provide and prepare information for reports in a timely manner
- Solid understanding of accounting principles demonstrated in one or more years of progressively responsible office, customer service, problem solving, and accounting in a comparable environment.
- Must have strong Excel skills and knowledge of 10 key.
- Must have ability to work independently in a multi-tasking customer service setting.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instruction.
- Prepares bank reconciliations with multi-bank accounts with inter transactions and transfers
- Monitor fixed assets including transfers additions, and disposals and prepare monthly depreciation schedules.
- Prepare monthly accruals and adjustments for the month-end close.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Finance.
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm 100% onsite
- Payrate: $32-35 an hour
