Summary

Flow Control Group is looking for a staff accountant in our Corporate office in Charlotte, NC. This individual will report to the Corporate Controller and interact with multiple levels within the organization as well as external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter monthly journal entries including intercompany allocations, accruals, amortization, payroll, addbacks, etc.
• Ensure appropriate account and cost center coding
• Monthly variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations for the corporate financials
• Review monthly account reconciliations across multiple companies
• Maintain fixed asset ledger
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Assist with year-end audit support
• Bank reconciliations and daily cash log
• Reconcile credit card accounts
• Support the month-end and year-end close process

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting related positions
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of proficiency in excel
