Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, conducting audits, and managing general accounting activities. This is a permanent position that offers stability and growth opportunities within our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and accounting principles.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial data and provide timely and accurate reports.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

2. Audit:

Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external audits.
Review financial records, transactions, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Identify areas of potential risk or non-compliance and make recommendations for improvement.

3. General Accounting:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation.

4. Compliance:

Stay updated with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Support the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.

5. Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes and provide insights to management.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and financial modeling.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification or progress towards certification is highly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, audit procedures, and general accounting principles.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
