Overview of Staff Accountant Role:

• Prepares journal entries and maintains the general leger
• Tracks receivables and prepares reimbursement billings
• Analyze expenditure and revenue accounts
• File tax returns
• Staff accountant is responsible for preparing documents for upper management to influence decision making

Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Prior work experience as a staff accountant or in a similar position
