About the Job
General Responsibilities:
- Accurately posting General Ledger journal entries in accordance with reporting requirements
- Reporting daily cash transactions and preparing weekly cash reports
- Applying appropriate level of professional skepticism to all financial transactions
- Preparing and/or reviewing miscellaneous payments in online banking system
- Performing regular balance sheet line item and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, internal and external audit requests, and other ad hoc projects as required
- Other tasks, as assigned
- 2-4 years’ of previous experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous office experience
- CPA desirable but not required
- Strong analytical and accounting skills; thorough knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with expense forecasting preferred
- SEC reporting and SOX experience preferred
- Good knowledge of GAAP and financial statements
- Independently motivated, detail-oriented and good problem-solving ability
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
