The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting in the completion of fixed asset, month-end close, reconciliations as well as other daily/weekly/annual accounting responsibilities. Responsibilities also include the analysis of accounting/finance reports and processing/auditing of expense reimbursements, AR follow-up, A/P check runs and billing of invoices (as needed).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily ACH and Check Process
- Assist in the O/S Warehouse billing
- Support the month-end and Year end close process
- Track capital expenditures/fixed assets
- Prepare and file Sales/Use Tax returns
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions and journal entries
- Complete assigned monthly reconciliations per GAAP/IFRS.
- Manage customer credit records
- Process and audit expense reports
- Prepare and assist in the development of departmental reporting
- Perform multiple Ad-hoc reports weekly/monthly
- Perform additional reports and schedules as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in Accounting or related field with 3 – 5 years of experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Proven ability to use Excel daily including manipulation of large amounts of data and creation of simple formulas.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and achieve effective time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The majority of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant. The office is located next to the plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
Pay Range:USD $60,000.05 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
