Kforce' s client, a high growth Medical Device Manufacturer in Billerica, Massachusetts (MA) is currently seeking a Staff Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high growth global company as it prepares for IPO readiness (and have the ability to make business impact). The Staff Accountant reports to the Controller and will have a nice mix of operational + technical accounting and analysis. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be on-site 3 days/week. Main Duties:

In this role, the Staff Accountant will assist with month-end and year-end financial statements, in accordance with GAAP
Perform month-end GL close
The Staff Accountant will prepare financial statements and be involved with analysis and reporting
Identify and implement process improvements
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
Perform detailed GL analysis
Manage fixed assets and prepaids

Requirements:

BS degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
Staff Accountant must have 2-4 years of public accounting experience
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of GAAP * CPA or CPA track, preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
