Staff Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

100% ONSITE

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic Accounting processes, monthly closings, and reviewing account activity
• Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Maintain Fixed Assets
• Prepare regular and ad hoc monthly reports
• Payment and filing of business taxes, registrations, estimated tax payments and property statements
• Stay up to date on AP processes and serve as a back-up for accounts payable

Education/ Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related major is required
• Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with a track record of trustworthiness
• Proficiency with accounting software, in a paperless environment
• Advanced Excel proficiency (vlookups/ pivot tables)

** Experience in professional services is a plus **
