Staff Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Contract to Hire Staff Accountant in Fulton Industrial Area!

Contract Salary: $28-$31 Hourly

Fulltime Salary: 60k-70k Annually

Responsibilities

• This individual will report to the Controller and assist in the day-to-day and month-end accounting
• Additionally, s/he will assist in the completion of the Company's annual audits reporting and on various special projects
• Staff Accountant will provide strategic support to the finance team and management including process documentation, controls implementation, treasury management and other requested projects
• Assist in the month-end close process including preparing journal entries, analyses, intercompany tie-outs, and account reconciliations;
• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts in compliance with GAAP;
• Track and reconcile capital expenditures;
• Manage check depositing and cash requests;
• Ownership of sponsorship invoicing and revenue tracking;
• Effectively communicate issues and errors to departments and management;
• Perform ad-hoc internal reporting and analysis

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experince as a Staff Accountant
• Must be have advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables/VLookUps)
• Must have strong GL/Bank Account Reconiliation Experience.
• Previous have previous experience with QuickBooks is a Plus.
