Staff Accountant (AR) - Virtual Company

About the Job
Real Estate/Property Management experience highly preferred.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling incoming requests from tenant by phone, e-mail, and managing the inquires and requests
- Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely rent collection by following company policy for non-payment, and update accounts receivable comments.
- Collect, review, input, and calculate monthly and annual tenant sales
- Prepare, analyze and post daily tenant cash receipts on a timely basis
- Prepare tenant account reconciliations
- Review daily cash reconciliation
- Run, review, and post monthly tenant rent billings
- Review and process late fees
- Prepare billing adjustments, write off, payment corrections
- Compiling proper backup and send out monthly bill backs invoices
- Provide accounting support to property management team and participate in periodic meetings with property managers
- Assist with ad-hoc reports as required
- Use of Microsoft products (including Word and Excel)
- Utilize Office/Retail specific applications (MRI)
- Minimum one year experience in collections and customer service environment
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
