Job Details
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and complete various general ledger operations
- Participate in monthly and annual closing process
- Prepare and distribute financial reports
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Present information on various financial topics as requested by management
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts and corresponding schedules
- Prepare account or expense analysis as requested by management
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Perform bank account reconciliations
- Assist Accounts Payable/ Receivable staff in invoice processing and reconciliation activities
- Assist Accounting Specialist staff in revenue recognition and reconciliation activities
- Assist senior accounting staff with general accounting functions or special projects
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual financial and tax audits
- Participate in the implementation and/or maintenance of internal financial controls, business processes, and procedures
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four-year university.
- One to three (1-3) years’ experience in accounting or finance related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Previous accounting experience in retail, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.
- Previous experience or knowledge in accounts payable/ receivable processes.
- Previous experience or knowledge in bank reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of or experience with ERP and business intelligence systems such as Oracle Cloud Fusion, and QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of or experience in accounting for multiple legal entities preferred.
