Our firm's Accounting and Advisory Services (A&A) is recruiting experienced Staff Accountants to join our A&A team in our New Jersey office. As a Staff Accountant in this practice, you will be responsible for providing customized services and solutions that address the financial needs of high-net-worth individuals, their families, and their closely held businesses. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, assisting on audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statement engagements, while providing the highest levels of client service excellence to our valued clients.

This is a national practice. The preferred location for this position is our New Jersey or New York office. Our firm offers remote and hybrid working.

What You Will Do:

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of service to our clients in a range of markets and industries. You will:

• Prepare tax and financial projections
• Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns (including general ledger analysis and tax closings)
• Assist on reviews and compilations of financial statement engagements and preparing financial statements
• Build and maintain client relationships focused on excellent client service
• Engage in internal initiatives and training.

What We Seek:

We actively encourage everyone to bring their own unique skills and experience to the table. Some of the key qualities that we are looking for are:

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting
• Active CPA license or actively pursuing CPA designation
• 1+ years of public accounting experience
• QuickBooks experience
• Demonstrated focus on client deadlines and attention to detail
• Willingness and ability to travel to client locations
• Demonstrated focus on client deadlines and providing excellent client service
• Proficiency in CCH Axcess Tax, QuickBooks, BNA and ProSystem Engagement.

• The salary range for this role takes into account many factors including, but not limited to, years and type of experience, skill sets, and certifications. The projected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $94,000.
