Staff Accountant - 4 days per week remote! - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Phoenix based headquarters is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team. This role will report to the Director of Accounting and have strong collaboration with the entire accounting team, Staff and Senior Accountants, and Controller. This is an extremely hybrid role with autonomy - candidates will be self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to problem solve.

Responsibilities to include:

- Journal entries, month end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation

- Data uploads to and from the ERP system

- Heavy excel usage - Pivot Tables, VLookups, HLookups

- Full cycle understanding of accounts payable functions

- Special projects as assigned

Position requirements:

- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience

- Strong Excel skills

- Mid-tier ERP system experience (Sage, Dynamics GP, Netsuite, or similar)
