Responsibilities:
As an integral part of our finance team, you'll take on diverse responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation, reconciliation, and review of monthly and year-end accounting transactions.
- Handling journal entries, account reconciliations, and identifying variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Supporting various finance projects to enhance team capacity and shared knowledge across programs.
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data to maintain accurate records.
- Assisting with month-end close, reconciliations, accounts payable, contracting, and reporting tasks.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- 2+ years of accounting experience, with a preference for non-profit sector experience.
- Proficiency in intermediate to advanced Excel skills is desirable.
- Familiarity with GAAP and GASB standards is advantageous.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
