About the Job
Our growing, private client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Our client promotes from within and has a great work life balance in addition to a hybrid work environment. The Staff Accountant will provide support in managing the company's financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and delivering accurate and timely financial reports.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly close and account reconciliations, record standard monthly accounting entries, investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards.
- Maintain trial balance
- Perform Account Reconciliations
- Record assets that have been capitalized and update fixed asset register
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- 1-3 years of General Ledger and month end close experience
