The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Inova Fairfax is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to Scrub and Circulate in various specialties. Sign-on bonuses available from $15K-$20K for qualified RNs and Relocation bonuses also available! This is a full-time day shift opening (3/13 hr. shifts).

The CVOR is located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus within the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute (IHVI) for adult cardiac surgery and Inova Women’s and Children’s Hospital for pediatric/congenital cardiac surgery. The CVORs are state of the art with Stryker integrated video and a Philips (Single Plane) Hybrid OR with a total of 7 operating rooms serving all cardiac surgery needs including thoracic organ transplant (heart and lung), mechanical circulatory support, structural heart, congenital, and advanced aortic surgery.

2 years CVOR Registered Nurse experience is required. May consider OR RNs seeking to specialize in CVOR. - Preferred: Previous experience both scrub and circulating in a cardiac surgery service line setting performing complex procedures i.e. transplant, aortic dissections, structural heart.

- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
- RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
- EKG proficiency.
- Must be available to take call and rotate weekends, holidays and off-shifts.
- CNOR certification highly desired.
- Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
