SRE Delivery Manager
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Project Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
● Governance Oversight: Provide oversight and governance for various SRE
activities in Pods 5-7.
● Incident Management: Track day-to-day incidents and work towards their resolution.
● Backlog Management: Manage the backlog for LTCM, focusing on platform
reliability and availability from an SRE perspective.
● Ownership of Platform Incidents: Assume end-to-end ownership of
platform-related incidents, coordinating support from various teams and Pods, and
driving progress.
● Priority Decision Making: Make priority decisions in collaboration with the Product
Owner (PO) and Principal Engineer regarding Product SRE features.
● Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Error Budgets: Manage SLOs and error
budgets for platforms.
● Technology Trials Proof of Concepts (POCs): Own technology trials and POCs,
create evaluation plans, and liaise with external vendors.
● Reporting: Publish reports and update key stakeholders on the status of SRE
implementations.
● Collaboration: Work with legacy Pods (1-4) and other organizations (e.g., Chofer) to
identify key product and SRE features and define the SRE roadmap.
● Process Streamlining: Streamline incident, problem, and change management
processes; ensure compliance among all SREs, and take remedial actions as
necessary.
● Training Needs Identification: Identify SRE training needs across the program and
coordinate relevant training programs.
Deliverables:
● Process Flows: Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to client project team
members.
● Project Deliverables: Participate as a primary, co, or contributing author on any
project deliverables related to assigned responsibilities.
● Data Conversion Maintenance: Participate in data conversion and maintenance
efforts.
● Best Practices Solutions: Offer best practice and industry-specific solutions.
● Creative Problem-Solving: Advise and offer alternative (out-of-the-box) solutions.
● Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership and, when needed, hands-on
technical configuration and development.
● Team Collaboration: Collaborate as part of the functional team and perform
additional duties as assigned.
